Special steel plate is extremely hard. Special steel is generally obtained by optimizing the alloy composition combined with the unique direct quenching process to obtain extremely high hardness and high toughness. The elongation is only about 7%, and the hardness generally reaches 550HBW. The structural hardness and bending parameters of the mold cannot meet its processing requirements, the rebound is large and easy to crack, and the outer surface is prone to indentation. Generally, processing and manufacturing enterprises use bending machine molds that are V-shaped and U-shaped bending molds. The R angle of the lower mold is a fixed structure. The width of the V mouth is generally 4 to 6 times the thickness of the material. The R angle of the upper mold is usually 1 ~1.5 times the material thickness.
For special steel sheet metal products, the R angle of the lower die adopts a removable and rollable LD material roller structure, and the R angle of the upper and lower dies, the width and angle of the V mouth are redesigned, and special sheet metal products must be considered here. Factors that cause greater product spring back, for example, the R angle of the upper mold can be selected to be 3 to 6 times the material thickness, the R angle of the lower mold can be selected to be 4 to 8 times the material thickness, and the V mouth width can be selected to be 6 to 12 times the material thickness. Bending, spring back, cracking, and indentation on the outer surface all have a good effect.
The following issues need to be paid attention to
(1) Pay attention to bending at right angles to the rolling direction, and remove all defects by grinding before bending, and the sheared edge should also be ground flat.
(2) The bending force and spring back will increase with the increase of the strength of the special sheet metal. The higher the hardness of the sheet metal, the greater the bending force and the greater the spring back.
