Structural Features of Three-roll Symmetrical Plate Rolling Machine


Three-roll symmetrical plate rolling machine is general equipment that rolls metal sheets into a cylindrical, arc, or other shapes. According to the principle of the three-point circle, the relative position change and rotational movement of the workpiece are used to cause continuous plastic deformation of the plate to obtain a workpiece with a predetermined shape. The upper roller of the three-roller hydraulic symmetrical plate bending machine moves vertically at the symmetrical position of the two lower rollers, which is obtained by the hydraulic oil in the hydraulic cylinder acting on the piston, which is the hydraulic transmission. The two lower rollers rotate, and the output gear of the reducer meshes with the teeth of the lower roller to provide torque for the rolled plate.

The three-roller hydraulic symmetrical plate rolling machine has compact structure and convenient operation and maintenance. It is suitable for the bending and deformation of metal plates. It can roll around, arc and conical workpieces within a certain range, and has the function of pre-bending the plate end.

1.We briefly describe the structural features of the three-roll symmetrical plate rolling machine.

The machine is composed of a base, upper roller, lower roller, left and right frame, main drive system, auxiliary drive system, hydraulic system, electrical control system, etc. The base and frame adopt welding structure, and the welding seam quality is strictly required, and aging treatment is carried out to ensure that the machine has sufficient strength and rigidity under the working load.

2.How to working?

The upper roller is installed in two bearing bodies, respectively inlaid on the inside of the frame on both sides, and the upper roller is moved up and down by the oil cylinders at both ends. The bearings at both ends of the upper roll adopt low-speed, heavy-load self-aligning roller bearings. The lifting displacement of the upper roll is displayed by numbers, and the parallel or tilt of the work roll can be adjusted according to the digital display. Its synchronization accuracy is ±0.2mm. The dumping side of the upper roller is equipped with a dumping cylinder for easy material retrieval. The tail of the upper roller is equipped with a balancing mechanism. When the dumping side loses support, the upper balance roller is in a horizontal position.
The two lower rollers are installed inside the upper roller frame, supported by the lower roller frame, and adopt low-speed, heavy-load spherical roller bearings. The two lower rollers move horizontally at the same time under the drive of an oil cylinder. The horizontal movement of the lower roller is digitally displayed, and the lower working rollers are adjusted to be parallel according to the digital display. The synchronization accuracy is ±0.2mm, and it can automatically return to the center.
The material matching device is installed on the side of the lower roller and is driven by the oil cylinder. The cone roller device is installed at the left end of the upper roller and moves up and down with the upper roller.

3.Main drive system

The three working rolls of the machine are all active rolls. Among them, the upper roller is the main driving roller, and the upper roller power can meet the requirements of working under the maximum load. The two lower rollers are auxiliary driving rollers, which are used to feed materials and prevent possible slippage during the process of rolling the sheet. The linear speed of the upper and lower rollers is matched, and the hydraulic system realizes automatic matching during the rolling process.
The upper work roll is driven by a hydraulic motor through a planetary reducer. The lower work roll is driven by a hydraulic motor through a gear pair. The rotary motion of the three rollers is equipped with a braking device to ensure the accurate positioning of the workpiece during rolling. The device runs smoothly, and the rolling is flexible and reliable.

4.Hydraulic system

The lifting of the upper work roll, the horizontal movement of the lower work roll and the rotation of the upper and lower work rolls, the tilting and resetting of the side inverted bearing body, and the feeding device are driven by the hydraulic system. The main components of the hydraulic system, oil pumps, motors, valve components, seals, etc., are all selected high-quality supporting products with stable performance and reliable quality.
